Just to let you know: SCTV is no longer on Cinemax, in fact, it is no longer in production, a situation that has not been true for eight years. I guess it didn't have enough viewers on the 'Max to warrant renewal. There is, however, a package of over 150 half-hoursof SCTV available for syndication. These shows are edited from the old syndicated show and the NBC years, possibly the year on Cinemax as well, but I haven't seen anything from there. The shows in this package are well put-together. Just this afternoon I saw "The Merv Griffin Show - The Special Edition" and a "Great White North". Lotsa luck in everyone's searches for Comedic Satisfaction. .rne. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...{convex,ucbvax,gatech,csu-cs,anl-mcs}!unmvax!nmtvax!ernie | Box 3101 C/S ...{purdue,cmc12}!lanl-a!nmtvax!ernie | Socorro NM 87801 "That's the show for today...Good Day, eh?"

Umm, excuse me, but I have Cinemax and they have been running promos lately for SCTV: The Second Coming (or something like that) and they have already run a couple of shows in the second season. Many of the segments seem to be repeats, maybe everything. Maybe they have gone out of production, but the shows are running now.
