If you want to compare V with Battlestar Galactica (like most of us do, after all, they're both *so* winning :-) don't think that staying in the show is going to hurt anyone's career. After all, there are some people who both starred and appeared in Battlestar Galactica who have flourishing careers in TV now (for example, Dirk Benedict, Ana Alicia, Lloyd Bridges -- but he had basically made it already). I find it funny that of all the actors in V, I can't remember a single one being in any other show before. -- Baby tie your hair back in a long white bow ... Greg, I have to disagree. The various actors in V are not exactly newcomers. Marc Singer has made several movies, including "If You Could See What I Hear" and I think "Dragonslayer". Jane Badler was a regular on several soap operas (she once played Dorian Lord's psychotic sister on "One Life to Live"). Michael Durrell has been a regular "Guest Star" on several series in the past few years. And of course in the second V mini-series, Sarah Douglas of "Falcon Crest" was a star. I also get the feeling that I've seen the actress now playing Elizabeth on a soap, but I can't remember which one. Generally, it seems that once an actor becomes a familiar face to viewers, they don't have many problems finding new roles (hmmmmm, Suzanne Sommers? Who's she?). That's not saying that they will be successful. Just that they have a better chance than the guy on the street (witness the Tony Danza fiasco on Tuesday nights. Better yet, watch the "A Team" or "Tuesday Night Titans" instead. Less brutal.). Diane Wilkerson "Just the facts Ma'am" ..!hopd3!dvw

[Ignore the Red Dust--Everyone else does!] Marc Singer had the leads in "If you could see what I hear" and "The Beastmaster." Although neither of these were blockbusters I thought he did okay. I was surprised when he accepted the series. \ | / \|/ ---*--- /|\ / | \ NOVA Scott Allen ATT-IS Orlando, Florida ..!abnjh!nova

Marc Singer (Donovan) has done several things. He played Petruchio in the PBS televised production of San Francisco's Shakespeare Company's Taming of the Shrew; he played the Heisman Trophy winner in Something for Joey; he was Richard Thomas' older evil brother in Roots; he had some unlikable role in some miniseries that I didn't watch. He's done a bunch of guest star roles on series here and there.

Diana played Dorian's sister Lynn in One Life to Live.
