First there was the tv movie (the sleaziest), then 'Star 80' (big movie stars), now there is the real thing. The Playboy channel will show their version again this weekend. There's lots of shots of photo seesions but the real plus in this version is that you get to see actual footage of Dorothy, her husband Paul Synder, and Hugh himself. You actually get to see and hear Paul Synder say to Hugh "She's got a good head on her shoulders." And Hugh responds "Keep her that way." You get to see Paul constantly hovering over Dorothy at the Playmate of the Year awards and see her pull her hand out of his, and keep trying to slip away from him. Playboy also tries to exonerate itself, you hear Hugh saying "Some people like to blame it on life in the fast lane, or Hollywood, or Playboy. But it was Paul Synder that killed her."
