Let's warm up this newsgroup a little. My candidates for the best things currently on the tube: 1. Miami Vice. And it has been renewed for next fall. sigh. 2. Commander USA's Groovie Movies: You talk about bad horror films?? This is the place!! For five hours on Saturday afternoons (12 to 5 EST) this guy in a red, white, and blue outfit comes on and shows serials, and two of the worst (best) horror films around. Bring on the popcorn. 3. USA's Night Flight: Showing cult movies every week. These are really good (even if my local cable company did turn off Andy Warhol's Frankenstein after only 1 hour). Breaking Glass, with Hazel O'Connor was riveting. More, more!! 4. DangerMouse. And Penfold. 5. The Cosby Show. I graduated from Temple. The show is really funny. Did you see him try to take the snowsuit off of the youngest last week? 6. Doctor Who. 7. Fawlty Towers. Which is preceded by Monty Python. The more Cleese, the better. 8. Dark Shadows. Shown on the New Jersey Network. I can't believe how much I didn't remember about the show, even though I used to break my neck trying to get home from school in time to watch it. That's all that is really good. Dynasty is getting boring (so's Dallas, and I don't watch Falcon Crest anymore). Send any flames to /dev/null. Diane Wilkerson (don't send mail since this is not my account. thanks.)
