I did not get to see the second part of the season opener of Cheers. Can anyone fill me in on what happened? M. Ashley AT&T-BL Naperville, IL

Well, Sam and Diane decided they had to talk and tell each other how little they felt for one another anymore -- turned into a "I feel less for you than you do for me" putdown match. Diane told him that she and Frasier and she were lovers, which he proceeded to announce to the entire bar ("Ewwwwwwwww!") Coach convinced Diane to come back to work for the bar, telling her it was back to the bottle for Sam if she were to leave again. He convinced Sam to let her by telling him that she would flip out again if he didn't give her her old job back. As Diane and Frasier were leaving, Frasier insisted that Sam and Diane kiss goodbye. They did, quite awkwardly. I think, but I'm not certain I heard correctly, that after they walked out, Sam said, "I'm crazy about her," to which Coach responded, "Uh oh."

Did anyone catch the Thanksgiving episode of Cheers? Please send me an update and tell me why Frasier's mother wanted to kill her. Thanks! M. Ashley AT&T Bell Laboratories ihuxm!marno

Cause she wanted her little boy all to herself.

We set our vcr to tape Thur's tv and Reagan messed it all up! Did anyone see how they explained Coach's absence from Cheers? What happened at the end of Hill Street? Thanks! Brad

What happened > at the end of Hill Street? > Thanks! > Brad Apparently he was sick before his death and was away from the show for five weeks. His absence was explained as a vacation (went to a Black families re-union). I suspect that we won't see his death for a few weeks yet Jim
