One episode that I somewhat clearly remember is when Eighth Man came up against the model just before him, which I believe was called "Samantha 7". She was very large, strong, and insane. A massive "battle of the robots" resulted. By the way, Professor Genius lived in a rather strange house with a drastically sloping roof. Now, how about "Astro Boy"? Actually, I saw Astro Boy T-shirts in a local store just a few weeks ago, so he's still apparently pretty popular. Both Astro Boy and another animated feature, called "Kimba [the white lion]" were from "Mushi" productions in Japan. In fact, both Kimba and Astro Boy had almost exactly the same face and (I believe) voice. Astro Boy, as you may recall, was built by a somewhat deranged (by grief) scientist when his son was killed in a traffic accident, caused by the failure of an automated vehicular guidance system. Astro Boy's main friend was Professor Elephant (or was it Dr. Elephant?) who pointed him in the direction of various wrongs which needed to be righted. One particularly clever episode of Astro Boy involved a community that was transported to another planet, intact, by aliens, without the inhabitants' knowledge. This same theme was also used (but I'm not too sure who had it first, probably Astro Boy!) in an "Outer Limits" episode called "A Feasibility Study". "Kimba" was a non-technical cartoon, involving the adventures of our hero, Kimba the white lion, as he protected the various rather oddball jungle creatures from various problems and threats. Actually, Kimba is one of my favorites. --Lauren-- P.S. This one isn't on tape. Gotta do it from memory: Kimba! (Kimba!) Kimba! (Kimba!) Kimba! (Kimba!) Kimba! (Kimba!) The coolest down in deepest, darkest Africa! (Africa!) Who's the one who brought the jungle fame? (Oooooooohh!) Who leads all the animals in Africa? (Africa!) Kimba the White Lion is his name! When we get in trouble and we're in a fight, (In a fight!) Who's the one who just won't turn and run? Who believes in doing well and doing right? (Ohhhh!) Kimba the White Lion is the one! --LW--

For what it's worth, Casper the friendly ghost and Richie Rich have EXACTLY the same face. Rei Shinozuka
