One effect of MHR in the total series is to establish what 6's old home/car are like a ltitle mroe firmly than in the opening episode, so when we see them again in the last episode, we see that the door works...urr... differently and understand why his response is not to follow the little guy into his home but to jump into his car and zoom off once again. --Lee Gold
