[You say Yamato, and I say ...]

What follows is the C/FO flier, verbatum

Interested in Science Fiction - fantasy - adventure

			cartoons

Japanese animated TV shows and movies ?

Remember Astro Boy, Eighth Man, Gigantor and Kimba?
More recently Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets?
They are just the tip of what is major prime time entertainment in Japan.
There are shows made for children, for young adults and for adults.
(Most of what gets to America is hardly in its original form.)

The Cartoon / Fantasy Organization is a club open to anyone
interested in fine animation - from Japan and elsewhere. Right now,
the Japanese animated TV shows and movies are of major interest
because of their art, animation, stories and character development.
The club shows mostly these programs.

Dues are $15 per year. You get the C/FO Magazine and in
New York the New York Chapter's monthly Bulletin.
The New York Chapter has monthly meeting/screening in lower Manhattan.
Open to the public, admission is $2.50 for non-members, $1.50 for members.
[ There are chapters all over the US ]
