No! They can't do that to us! How could the St. Elsewhere writers get rid of Dr. Westphall? I had thought that he would be an untouchable on that show but it seems as though there ain't no such animal. Since it's the end of the season, does anyone think that there's any possibility that they'll leave us to lament his loss all summer and then have him return (homesick?) at the start of next season? If not, then who's next??

Here's my theory about Dr. Westphall - he's going to replace Coach on Cheers. Did you see how well he got along with everybody at the bar? If this happens, remember, you heard it here first. If it doesn't, expire will take care of the evidence. -- Scott Orshan Bell Communications Research 201-981-3064 {ihnp4,allegra,bellcore,pyuxww}!u1100a!sdo

Jim from TAXI replace Coach. I think this is the perfect replacement, as they both have the same kind of humor built into their characters. It will also give a pat on the back to a good show (TAXI). And when the time comes for Carla to have her baby, they call a taxi to take her to the hospital. The taxi driver comes in to the bar to announce his arrival...Rieger! He and Jim exchange glances, Alex: Jim! It's Alex, Alex Rieger. Jim (looks around, startled): Where? And so on. -- Scott Turner
