[net.tv] 3 Stooges

To the person who sent a message regarding the real names of the Three
Stooges, you made two errors. One being that the stooges were an act before
they met Ted Healey, and two, that Shemp Howard's name was Samuel Horowitz.

Just remember, "If at first you don't succeed, keep on sucking 'till you do
succeed! nyuk-nyuk"

A good friend of mine is the neice of Moe and Shemp Howard. She
never mentioned Curly as having been a brother, and it is amoung the
things that we discussed.
She says that Curly quit because of poor health, and a personality
conflict, and that Moe asked Shemp to fill in, and Shemp did so, but
wanted very much to only be temporary.
Recently, my friend moved to California, but couldn't afford
to transport a lot of her worldly goods. So my house now contains a lot
of Moe Howard Artifacts, including some ceramics that he made, and
furniture that he gave his sister.
My friend says that Moe was very generous, and a wonderful uncle.
He was really good at giving a child the kind of attention that children
want.
All that aside though, I am startled to read that they are the
greatest comedy group of all time! I liked them, but not that much. I can
think of dozens of comedy teams that I liked better. Gleason & Carney,
Allen & Keaton, Burns & Allen, Firesign Theatre, Monte Python, Abbot & Costello
Flanders & Swann, Bob & Ray, Ackroyd & Belushi, to name a few.

Hey! What about the MARX BROTHERS!

Could the person who posted the address of the 3 Stooges fan club put it up
once more? I deleted the message by mistake and would like to have the
address. Thanks.
