I am desperately seeking the answer to the trivia question "What is Barney Rubble's occupation?". I don't think that Barney worked in the rock quarry with Fred except for one episode. Help me out Flintstones fans! Jeff houxa!ragle 5941ux!btljlr

On todays' (April 10th) second WTBS episode of the Flintstones Barney was mistaken for an Indian prince named Barbaruba. Does this name remind anyone else of the name of a certain mid 60s Jane Fonda movie?? -- edward {ucbvax, unmvax, boulder, research}!anlams! -| {mcvax!qtlon,vax135,mddc}!qusavx! -|--> ukma!edward {decvax,ihnp4,mhuxt,clyde,osu-eddie,ulysses}!cbosgd! -|

Barbarella was produced in 1968 (source: Movies on TV). I think that that episode predates the movie. I thought that you were implying that the Flintstones took the name from the movie. Could it be that the movie took its name from the Flintstones??? On a slightly different note, does anyone else out there feel that the Flintstones is one of the finest shows on TV? I certainly do! What are some of the favorite episodes of the readers of this newsgroup? Mine is the one that featured that fantastic singing group "The Wayouts". Who could ever forget "We're going way out, WAY OUT, that's where the fun is, way out, WAY OUT." The Prince Barbaruba one was a classic also: "First bass ... second bass ... shortstop" How about it?
