One of the popular toy items right now are the toy versions of the Voltron
robots. They are apparently being marketed in the U.S. by Matchbox (the
little car people).
The Voltron which resides on the Explorer and is composed of 15 smaller
vehicles is marketed as Voltron I. The Voltron which is composed of 5 lions
("Go, Lions") is marketed as Voltron III.
There is, however, a set of robots being marketed as Voltron II. There
appear to be three small robots which combine to form one large, six-armed
robot.
Is there a TV cartoon to which Voltron II corresponds? If so, what is the
basic plot line? Also, is it being shown (or will it be shown) in the U.S.
(albeit in some adulterated form)?
