I'm not sure this is a bad thing, if it is done correctly. Remember,
please, that one of the main reasons Hill Street took off critically at the
beginning of it's run was it's new approach to a story. I, for one, will
follow through almost any changes in the format of the show, as long as the
quality of the scripts and the acting and characterization does not go
downhill.

Hmm... I had expected more to be on the "permanent list". Hope Washington,
Bates & Coffey have something to do.

No big surprise here -- apparently Rene Enriquez was not one of the easier
actors to work with.

I don't think so -- the people who are in charge of the show have been the
writers for the last few seasons -- they've done good work before, so I'm
betting on good work from now on.

In a TV Guide article of a month ago, it was revealed that Patsy and Harry
would not be back. As to Bosson, they said she was one of the people who
WOULD stay with the show...

"Veteran"? I don't know if "recurring" means regular, i.e. on the credits,
but -- Chief Daniels? Nah, he's never *been* a cop. Harry? It's mentioned
that he'll be in the first episode and then disappear. Mick's friend Robin?
God, I hope not...

Precisely!

					"You are still dead, then?"
					"Oh yeah, hey, totally."
