Back some months ago, I saw what seemed to be a one-time-special show on NBC called "Michael Nesmith's Television Parts"; it was an amusing collection of short humorous films and sketches. I then did not see any other mention of it until last week, when I noticed that another such show was on, and listed in my TV Guide (7 PM CDT, Friday, I believe). I watched it and liked it. I then looked at my stack of back issues of TV Guide that I haven't gotten around to thrrowing away yet, and saw that I had missed an airing of another episode of it last week, when I wasn't home on Friday night. However, before that, for as far back as I checked, our local NBC affiliate (KSDK) has been showing baseball games on Friday night, which would have preempted it if it had been sent out over the network. My question, then: How many episodes of "Television Parts" have been broadcast over NBC, and when were these broadcast? If there have been a number of these, and I've been deprived of them by the local station replacing them with baseball (yech!), but they would be available off the network satellite feed, that would be one other reason to get a satellite dish. Thanks for your help! Regards, Will Martin USENET: seismo!brl-bmd!wmartin or ARPA/MILNET: wmartin@almsa-1.ARPA

You have missed two shows so far, specifically June 14, 1985 and June 21, 1985, broadcast at 8:00 PM EDT on NBC and its affiliates. The pilot for the series was broadcast back in late winter or early spring I believe. So you aren't too late. -- A memo from the desk of : Larry W. I have this episode recorded, but my VCR is in the shop, so I can't supply any lyrics (right now at least). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Taking qualudes after doing cocaine is like throwing bricks into the Grand Canyon." ------------ George Moore (gm@trsvax.UUCP)
