You all out there have been talking about ABC and whether anyone actually watches it anymore. Well, there's a show on ABC called "Moonlighting" that is actually not half-bad. It stars Cybil Shephard (there aren't too many better looking women on television) and Bruce Willis (I know, who???). It's a traditional detective show, featuring Shephard as a former model turned detective and Willis as her partner. The script writers of this show are the ones who deserve most of the credit, as far as I can tell, though. Particularly in Willis's case, the dialogue is very witty at times. A real delight when you want some comedic relief and the Cosby Show isn't your idea of real comedy. And since their aren't too many other funny shows on right now, you may want to give this one a shot. I believe it's on Tuesday nights at 9 (8 cent/mt. - what do those people do, go to sleep an hour earlier?). In case you need more of an idea of what it's like, it's sort of a "Hart to Hart" kind of show, in many ways. If you liked "Hart^2", and even if you didn't, you may want to give "Moonlighting" a look-see. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Whoever has the most things when they die, wins." -Anonymous Jeff Gershengorn '88 ihnp4!dartvax!gersh Hinman Box 1772 Dartmouth College Hanover, New Hampshire 03755 Real World: 5 Fairway Drive San Rafael, CA 94901 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd like to second the recommendation for "Moonlighting". It's lightweight, but good. I'm waiting to see if the witty banter gets tiresome, although the stories (as well as the dialogue) have been good so far this season. And the acting has been uniformly good. It's not the kind of show I would normally check out, but after seeing the pilot "by mistake", I'm glad I did. One point: I never liked "Hart to Hart" at all! But, I like this show a lot. So, don't be scared by the previous posters comparison. Steve Marcovici AT&T Bell Laboratories ...packard!srm

First off, I think this is the only show worth watching on Tuesday nights to begin with. Second, it really is good. Pretty funny. Cybil Shephard and her partner (name escapes me) are a good pair together. Give it a try.

I forgot about this show. My wife was watching it one night and got me interested in it. Willis is great in his part and him and Cybil(sigh) are a good balance.
