Well, briefly, things had better improve quick; I was generous last week,
but two such unexceptional shows in a row makes me doubtful as to the averge
quality of this show. Very predictable plot, cardboard characters, and a
leftover special effect (anyone notice the meteor coming towards the jock's
house was a clip from STARMAN?).
And I even figured the Alfred Hitchcock following out in a few minutes (the
intro was good, though...).

I found the second episode of Amazing Stories to be inventive, fresh and just plain fun. I didn't see the first episode so I can't comment on that. If you are a Sci-Fi nerd, it probably left something to be desired. I think some people are looking for another Star Trek or Battle Star Gallactica.
