Funny you should say it that way. November is Sweeps month, and next week
most of the SF anthology shows will be pulling out their "best" stuff.
Three things you might like to know about:

Sunday, Nov. 3rd: Special one-hour Amazing stories directed by Spielburg.
This is the one you've been seeing clips from during the previews from the
series, and it looks QUITE good. Has Sam Waterson (I think) from THE
KILLING FIELDS in it. The bomber pilot episode. 8:00 EST, PST

Tuesday, Nov. 5th: 1/2 Amazing stories with Gregory Hines. Is this the
Michael Cimmino episode? 8:00 EST, PST (Alfred Hitchcock follows).

Friday, Nov. 8th: One of the Twilight Zone episodes scripted by Harlan
Ellison.

Just thought you'd like to know.

"But Billy Joe, lynchin' ain't fer mummies.
       Lynchin's fer cattle rustlers."
                                          "Lynchin's fer EVERBODY!"

                                        Moriarty, aka Jeff Meyer

Actually, it didn't star Sam Waters*t*on; the only "name" star that I saw
in the episode was Kevin Costner ("Silverado") as the captain.

"Mother, could I have a cup of tea? I have an important statement in the
  Commons tomorrow about Rhodesia."
    "Ooh, he's talkin' already!"
"Of course I can talk. I'm Minister for Overseas Development."
