[net.tv] Moonlighting - "Portrait of Maddie"

So did the 2 brothers really commit suicide or was it the "cop" who shot them
and made it out as suicides ? I guess this must be the explanation since no
one was ever around to discover the "suicides". Who exactly was the "cop" sup-
posed to be ?

In another episode, in which a pianist orchestrates his own
kidnapping, a van blows up with him allegedly in it. David says "Nah"
because little bits of pianist aren't flying around, but later the
supposed murderer says "Yeah, I did it". The show ends but the viewer
never knows with certainty what the final status of the pianist is.

Several other episodes have similar gaps but the humor more
than makes up for it. I wonder if the plots are intentionally incom-
plete.
