/* ---------- "A new trend in TV" ---------- */
With all the postings about Saint Elsewhere and Moonlighting with
their references to other shows or "running out of material" I wonder
if TV is going towards a new trend? These shows almost seem like a
Sat. Night Live show in which the actors look directly at the camera
and say something to the audience like "I know this is dumb but bear
with me". It is also like a cartoon in which bugs bunny stops all the
action to comment on what is happening. I do not watch much of the
network TV now that I have cable and I really don't intend on becoming
a couch potatoe. Network TV seems to be intent on not allowing us to
become "couch potatoes" with all the crap that is on now. I would
rather see LUCY re-runs than the gunk that is on now.
