Does anyone have any episodes of the CBS tv show _Wizards & Warriors_ around on Video? I have 2 and am trying to find more. For those who don't remeber, _W&W_ has a summer show in CBS about '80 or '81. It only lasted 6-8 episodes (anyone know exactly how many?) and was a midevil fantasy show. It had a wonderful sense of humor. e.g. The good guys are on a bridge being attack from both sides of the bridge. Marco "This is not fun" Eric "Yeah?" Marco "I had fun before and this is not it!" The show also had THE MOST charming evil charachter I have ever seen in Blackpool, the evil prince and his wizard Vector. Oh, well. Does anyone have any tapes, does anyone even remember this show besides me? I remember once, when the hero and a companion or two were going on a sneak-mission: hero: I wonder if we should get some poison-sniffing badgers? other: Badgers? We don't need no stinking Badgers! And, of source, the princess in the show acted just like a stereotypical "Jewish-American Princess". -- -- Bob Gottlieb UUCP: ...!linus!alliant!gottlieb Mail: Alliant Computer Systems Corp, 42 Nagog Park, Acton, MA 01720 Phone: (617) 263-9110 Foot: "You can't get there from here". --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I don't know what I'm doing, and Alliant isn't responsible either, so there!"

You bet your sweet broadsword I remember W&W! It was one I those shows that I call too good to survive for long on the lobotomy box. My favorite line from it was when Eric and the Princess were having a picnic. The princess took a pie out of the picnic basket and offered it to Eric: Princess: Quiche? Eric: No thanks; I don't eat that. Barry Gold (lcc!barry) has a mailing list for a continuation of the W&W saga that was written by a friend of his. The first installment begins with an interview of Don Reo, the creator of the show, which contains many interesting insights. For one thing, they gave no indication on the show that it was supposed to take place in the future. That explains a lot! Robert Perlberg Resource Dynamics Inc. New York {philabs|delftcc}!rdin!perl
