For people that saw the 1/31/86 Twilight Zone ---
Please explain the ending of "The Elevator." I was watching
the whole episode faithfully, up until the elevator came down the
shaft. I got distracted from the TV for a fraction of a second.
When I looked back, I saw the flashlight fall to the ground, the
screen went blank, and ... commercial time."
My wife and I looked at each other and went "huh?"
