Was there an episode between the one where Furillo was in the hospital and
there were lots of flashbacks, and the one where he is up and around ("3 weeks
later") and Coffee gets shot? I would have liked more development of his
recovery.
What do you think Frank should do about becomming Mayor or police chief? How
will the show continue with him out of the squad room?
(In case anyone is still interested, the guy who shot Frank attempted to kill
Ozzie with a knife or letter opener--not a gun. And he didn't seem to have the
wherewithall to steal a police uniform and a gun).
