Sometime after the demise of the Monkees TV show, they made an hour long TV special. The plot, such as it was, was surreal and fairly stupid, but some new songs were played which I've never heard anywhere else. (A haunting snatch of Davy's "A String For My Kite" sticks in my mind.)
