For a good example of sloppy, obvious, false meta-humour, tune in to CBN sometime and watch any old episode of the George Burns show. In defence of the writers of that show, it is quite apparent that they MEANT to be as obvious as possible with the meta-comments. And to that end they succeeded. Remember, there was also a live studio audience at the time. Also the show is a bit different because he was playing himself, for the most part. ------- Michael S.
