Several people on this list have discussed command sets in which the cursor
motion keys are chosen for their geometrical placement on the keyboard (e.g.
jikm).
Keyboard-oriented cursor-motion is losing for people who have non-QWERTY
keyboards...thus having mnemonic value to the letters is an advantage, since
it is independent of this sort of thing.
