Oh, yes, I forgot. How does a 3rd order filter help even if you have a digital filter, as Phillips has been alleged to use? If you have aliasing due to a sampling rate/filter problem, digital filtering by DEFINATION cannot help. It may abet the problem, but if your filter doesn't have enough rejection to eliminate the reflected passband on reconstruction, that's all, folks. They may use one in recording, but that doesn't bother me a bit. I don't figure to use digital recording for about 5 years, until the technology is ready. I seem to remeber that reproducers came first in the original stereo game, and it doesn't bother me a bit that I will have to wait if I want to record something digitally. Lets have the playback system, it's worth it by itself. <GROWF!>
