[net.audio] Cartridges

I've been exceedingly happy with with my Dynavector 20A2. It's a moveing
coil cartridge that doesn't require its own preamp, and retails for about
$250. I believe it has a little brother which sounds almost as good but
is somewhat cheaper. Sonus also makes some reasonable cartridges, notably
the blue and the silver, but you need a very light tonearm. They're not
as well balanced as the Dynavector, but reproduce highs quite well. Some
people have also had quality control problems with them. I was reasonably
happy with mine for the two years I had it, until the stylus sheared off
and I got my Dynavector.
