Re: Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Has any audiophile out there suffered from poor MFSL pressings ? I just don't get it. They used to have the best pressings money could buy, but recently (maybe not so recently) they have gone down hill, in my opinion. I just purchased their latest UHQR release, SGT. PEPPER. Oh boy, I just could not wait to put it on the turntable. Voila, distortation in Lucy in the Sky, crap; AND ticks in It's Getting Better. If the record was not so heavy I would have smashed it to pieces. Back it went to MFSL. If this was the only MFSL pressing I had problems with, no big deal. But I also returned two copies of the WHITE album ! I followed all their directions, rechecked and realigned my cartridge all to no use. I only hope and pray their 13 l.p. package of the Beatles is better quality.
