Help! I have been reading the recent articles about
tape head demagnetization. It has been pointed out that some
servo decks are not compatible with the electronic head de-
magnetizers in the cassette shells. I have a servo deck and
one of each type of demagnetizer. I don't think I've used the
electronic one over a long enough period of time to cause damage
(My deck doesn't seem damaged). My question is
*HOW DOES ONE KNOW IF ONE IS IN THE 80% WITH A COMPATIBLE
COMBINATION OF SERVO DECK AND ELECTRONIC DEMAGNETIZER ?*
