[net.audio] Head cleaning

     I remember a previous article saying that Q-tips can be used
to clean tape heads. Whenever I use them, I worry about all those
cotton fibers coming off of the Q-tips, especially when  cleaning
the capstan and pinch roller. Should I worry about this? Is there
another common household implement I can (or should) use instead?
