I recently put out a question on cartridges and received a few answers, but not many. I've been looking for a decent cartridge in the $50 range, and have narrowed it down to 2. I now own a Shure M97 HE and am quite pleased with it. I only paid $47 for it and see no reason for anything more elaborate for a basement system. The other cartridge is a Stanton 6611 which I've found on sale for $49. Naturally the salesman says it's the greatest price since .15 hamburgers. I know Stanton has a good reputation and the price seems fair. Any ideas on which would be better. It's going on a Yamaha YP50 turntable. Tim Connolly BTL Indpls. inuxc!tconn
