In re Nakamichi's Dragon ... the April "High Fidelity" contains a glowing review of it - the new azumuth correction system seems like the best one yet since it adjusts the playback head to the tape. The old Nakamichi system adjusted the record head - which works quite well for tapes made on that machine, but does nothing for tapes imported from other decks (or prerecorded tapes). From what I've seen, the auto reverse playback on the Dragon is just icing on the cake, the deck's other features justify its $1850.00 price tag. Unfortunately, at least in the NY area, no one discounts Nakamichi (except that one can get some very good buys on discontinued models at Harvey Sound - they did have some 700 ZXL's for half price ($1500) two weeks ago). I'd also like to hear about anyone's hands on exerience with the Dragon Thanx. Bill Mitvhell Bell Labs - Whippany (whuxk!wjm)
