It was Anthony Newman on organ with the Handel Festival Orchestra. Nice concert. Interesting thing happened on one of the pieces: it was a Haydn keyboard concerto, which Newman chose to play on the harpsichord. Now, a harpsichord is a fairly quiet instrument, and doesn't really stand up to a 20-piece orchestra, even if it's out in front. Thus, they amplified it. They used a Sony electret microphone and a Shure mixer, feeding a JVC receiver (!) and a pair of Sentry IV speakers (!!). One speaker faced the audience and the other faced the orchestra.
