There are some interesting comments on why EQ sound may sound bright to some in Telarc's Omnidisk instruction manual. Many recording studios put in a treble cut (-1dB @ 8KHz, -2dB @ 10KHz, -3dB @ 12.5 KHz, -4db @ 16 KHz) which you can duplicate with your equalizer after you've equalized for flat response. Again, I highly recommend the Omnidisk - I just used it this morning to check the results after I re-EQ'd my speakers (with the RTA built into my EQ). Bill Mitchell (whuxk!wjm)
