[net.audio] speaker cable question

While on the subject of cables, my preamp's owners manual states that
since the output impedance is ``only 910 ohms'' cables up to 30 feet
long may be used to couple it to the power amp.  If they are low capacitance
cables, they may be up to 60 feet long.  Is this reasonable?  Am I likely
to have any trouble with, say, 18 or 24 feet of good quality coax?
