I share a house with a friend of mine, and we both have complete stereo systems in separate rooms of the house. We'd like to connect them so that we can have the same music on both, controlled from either preamp. Our current plan calls for the use of the tape-2 jacks to accomplish this -- my tape-2 output to his tape-2 input, and conversely. What type of connection is best for this application? The run of wire will be about 30 feet, and I don't want to lose the signal to attenuation or hum or phase-shift or other distortion... Will regular RCA plugs with plain 'ol wire between them do the job, or will it require something more exotic like 75-ohm shielded coax? Am I gonna fan the litz-wire fires? Please mail those helpful suggestions -- I'll post the consensus, if there is one... Thanks in advance, Mark Paulin ...tektronix!tekmdp!markp
