Does anyone know for sure why NAD all of a sudden dropped the
xx40 line to bring out the xx50 ("Series 50") line? For example
the new 3150 integrated amp is almost identical to the now
discontinued 3140, with rated power of 50 watts/ch instead of
40 (big difference), and the new one doesn't have the useful
led peak meters of the old one. The new receiver is the 7150,
although I did see in a magazine a photo of a (never-released)
7140 receiver with the caption "Mystery NAD" or something.
What's going on here?
