How come I don't hear anybody out there complaining about the "clearly audible" phase shift problems from the low-pass filters used for stereo-FM. I mean, the L & R signals are sampled at 38kHz, so there must be some LPF's at something well below 19kHz for each channel. How do these filters compare with the ones used in digital audio recording? Keith (I never heard a phase shift I didn't like) Ericson s/I didn't like// P.S. The absolutely BEST way to listen to your music is with a pair of GOOD headphones - Koss PRO-4a* 's or equivalent (or better) - and any old speaker capable of reproducing the bass thumps for your chest cavity and legs to feel. Just set the headphone drive to a comfortable level and then turn up the "outside" audio on the speaker until you can feel the "booma-booma" as you like it. I promise you you'll hear nuances in the music you NEVER heard on your speakers... (Unfortunately, you won't be impressing all the neighbors with your megawatts of power and $2000 apiece speakers.)
