The following is not an advertisement. Tek is not connected with Teledyne AR and neither am I. So there. "The AR turntable is back. After a four year absence from the market, Teledyne Acoustic Research" has introduced its new AR turntable, which the company redesigned from the dust cover down. The T-Bar [sic] features a universal tonearm mounting platform, and the turntable is available with its own ultra- low mass straight arm. A new platter rides atop a three- point spring-hung suspension, which isolates the tonearm and platter from the top and wood veneer base. Suggested retail price is $429.99 with the AR tonearm and $279.99 without it." Ho-hum.
