[net.audio] spare set of speakers do make a difference

An extra pair of speakers in the room would react somewhat to the 
sound produced by the active pair but I would guess the effect to 
be negligable compared to the effect of say opening a door.  If
you're going to get that picky you might consider emptying that
hall closet of coats to see if the sound in your listening area is
affected.  You may also want to seal off the fireplace to avoid
the pipe resonances it may produce.  The next point I'm actually
serious about -- try opening and closing your mouth while listening.
It makes quite an audible difference.  Anyway if you're still
concerned about that spare set of speakers you could short their
leads together.  That will increase the resistance to motion of
the drivers.  But really, don't bother.
