I noticed something that I thought was strange and I thought that some audiophile (?) may shed some light on the subject. Michael Jacksons 'thriller' song starts with the sound of footsteps walking from the right channel to the left channel (on my home stereo and my car stereo). However, when I hear it broadcast on the radio (at about 92.7 FM) the steps travel from left to right - 180 degrees out of phase! Is there any known phenom that causes this or is it caused by a lazy technician at the studio (like TV broadcasting of titles over other programs)? I checked my stereo to make sure that it is connected correctly. -- Steven M. Queriolo AT&T Bell Labs, Short Hills hlhop!smq
