I can't let the comments on the GLARE system go past without some comments. I've also heard it in Milburn, NJ, and I must say that, while it DOES solve some of the problems of analog record players, it just doesn't get rid of the main problem, the disc itself. The new Compact Discs are so much superior to anything done in the analog domain that I don't see how anyone would be willing to pay the $7,543 for the R**3 System. It does sound nice, though, if you can stand the cooling fans for the digital stuff whining away in the background. (We had to put the processor box in a different room from the speakers before we could really test the system.) John Wurmer, (The usual disclaimers apply, these are my own opinions only, and do not reflect either the opinion or policy of my employer.)
