I've heard the differences in similar amplifiers, possibly because the hearing in my right ear rolls off at 19.2 kHz (there are stores with ultra-sonic burglar alarms where I can't even go in due to the pain on my ears, not to mention what horizontal amplifiers in TVs do to me...)
