#N:hp-dcde:16000003:000:590 hp-dcde!barrett Jan 16 17:49:00 1984 After recently moving to Colorado from Oregon, I discovered that my belt-drive turntable was playing records at a much slower speed. The problem turned out to be that the rubber belt expanded because I now keep my apartment at 60 degrees rather than my usual 68; Colorado is colder and less humid so it feels about tha same. Is there a replacement belt that I could buy that would not be so subject to temperature fluctuations? Is not, how come temperature stability is not a spec for belt-driven turntables?
