Right On, Greg Paley...
I've always thought that recording techniques are one of the main reasons
high quality recordings - ANALOG OR DIGITAL -  (like Telarc or Sheffield)
sound right.  The low grade of multi-miked garbage (be it recorded in analog
or digital form, or be it delivered by CD, LP, or tape) put out by some
record companies is inexcuseable, and is even more henious when said record
companies put the words "audiophile recording" on the cover and add several
dollars to the price.
