It seems to me that because everyone is an individual with slightly different preferences, each listener to any given system, be it analog or digital, may find something to like or dislike about it and another person may disagree. In fact a pleasing sounding system may have little to do with accuracy, and many of the arguments in this group seem to deal with reconciling the discrepancy between pleasing and accurate. I prefer to listen to music (possibly inaccurately) rather than worry if my system sounds exactly like a particular music hall. george jacoby, kitt peak national observatory hao!kpno!jacoby
