hi campers! i'm still having a moving (overseas, to where it's 220v/50c) sale
here's what is still available:
power amp: nikko alpha 3 $275 mosfet, 80w+80w, led power meters,
very clean, .008% thd, .01% im,
dc-100khz +0/-1db, 115 db s/n, 40v/us
slew rate, min damping factor = 80.
loudspeaker
system: m&k satellites a very smooth, economical bi-amped
with system. will handle several hundred
custom bass watts cleanly; plays *loud*. active
cabinets and eq takes bass cabinets down to 20hz
active eq/xover $500 flat. crossover point is selectable.
switchable rumble filter. this xover
is of the "equal acoustic pressure"
variety: the system function takes into
account the driver transfer functions
to have acoustic outputs sum equally in
pressure, unlike conventional equal-
impedance or equal-voltage designs.
also, i have a power amp which i've been using for the bass cabinets. it's
a ~250-watt uni-sync professional amp, but with a bit of reworking to
make it healthy (uni-sync went out of business because of some rather silly
design flaws in certain products; this one had problems with its fan circuitry
and power supply which were simple fixes). $150 gets it, schematics, and full
service manual.
and if you're looking for a turbo scirocco or queen-sized mattress...
