<> In addition to the lack of Classical Music reviews in Stereo Review magazine, I have also noticed that the technical articles are becomming more poorly written as time goes by. The articles (in general) seem to be less and less technical. Of the big three (Audio, High Fidelity, and Stereo Review), I think that Audio is the best all-around Stereo magazine. I subscribe to both Audio and Stereo Review, and it seems as though Stereo Review articles state only things that are obvious to me. Audio's technical articles are more technically-oriented. I intend to keep my subscription to Audio, but I will eventually drop the Stereo Review subscription for the above reasons. Does anyone in netland have any opinions on some of the "Underground" Hi-Fi mag- azines? I would be interested in subscribing to one of the "underground" magazines. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be available on newsstands, and the cost of subscribing to most of them is pretty high, so I would like to hear from those of you subscribing to one of these magazines. In particular, what do you think of the magazines, and do you think they are worth the sub- stantially high cost of subscribing? Dennis -- Call-Me: Dennis Gibbs, Univ. of Md. Comp. Sci. Center.
