	Please acquire, (your local technical library should have
a copy to loan you) and read:

	"Principles of Communications Engineering:, Wozencraft and
	Jacobs, 1965, Wiley.
	
	"Digital Processing of Speech Signals", Rabiner and Schafer,
	1978, Prentice Hall.

	"Theory and Application of Digital Signal Processing",
	Rabiner and Gold, 1975, Prentice Hall

	"Advanced Engineering Mathmatics", Kreysig, ??  (Read this one
first, especially the sections on transforms, etc)

	"Digital Coding of Waveforms:, Jayant and Noll, 1984, Prentice Hall

After you've done this, please come back and explain the above statement.


	Come to think of it, I'd recommend these books for
any reader of this newsgroup who wants to learn about signal
processing, bandlimiting, filtering, phase response/distortion,
and the like.
