Now on to the question of the week: If Bob Carver can make his amps sound just like a Levinson ML-9(model?) why not buy a Carver amp. (Hell, why not buy it even if it doesn't match the ML-9!) OK, enough already! If you have $30,000 to spend on a stereo and don't like analytical methods why bother impoverished EE's like myself? I would rather discuss something like what dithering does to the signal-to-noise ratio and the relationship between sampling frequency, antialiasing filters, and how close you can get to realizing the Nyquist sample rate. -Shaun Keller (What was that outburst?)

Not everyone on the net is a EE (thank God :-). I enjoy subjective discussion. Yours for higher fidelity, Phil Rastocny AT&T-ISL ..!drutx!pmr

Maybe I just deal better with discussing when I know that there's a possibility of facts behind the discussion. -- Dick Dunn {hao, ucbvax, allegra}!nbires!rcd (303)444-5710 x3086 ...I'm not cynical - just experienced.
